Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, she is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as an artist in mixed martial arts competing for her country in UFC within the Flyweight Division. Antonina shevchenko recorded her first professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won the fight via second round TKO and then won the next 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating a record of 3-0. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She returned in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui on Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the Phoenix FC 4 promotion in 2018, and enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko was defeated by Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive strike power through a clinch using striking her with her knees. Antonina's UFC contract was extended following the win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters' finale in which she was fought against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight via unanimous decision but lost her second fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the night in this match. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts, losing to Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee.
